Welcome to the November
Save Time Online Newsletter!

Daylight savings is now in force throughout most of Australia, but don't forget to allow for another hour's difference if you deal with Queensland or the Northern Territory over summer.

With the approach of Christmas and the possibility of entertaining more, this month's time saving tips are to do with cleaning your kitchen. For starters, did you know that boiling a cup of water in the microwave will loosen up any bits of stuck on food? You can do that while you eat breakfast, then a quick wipe and it's done!

Make checking the fridge a daily occurrence - maybe part of washing dishes each night - so that food doesn't lie there going mouldy for weeks before a big clean out. Scrape dishes straight away so they can be stacked neatly between washes - and don't rinse them (rinsing wastes time and water.) Make sure scraping is easy - a flip top bin often means food scraps on the lid and floor so there is more to clean up.

Our articles and seasonal links this month relate to Christmas and Post Natal Depression (PND). If you are in Melbourne on Sunday 18th November, why not join in the Walk 4 PND? Walk at your own pace along the scenic Maribyrnong River and help build awareness of this hidden illness.
