Welcome to the July Save Time Online
Newsletter,
and a new financial year!
Hopefully you're
managing to keep warm and dry as winter takes
hold. Now is a good time to make the most of the
internet - by doing your banking, shopping, research,
bookings and more online you can stay inside and leave
the great outdoors for when you want to get active and
enjoy winter sports.
We've
started bringing you book reviews to keep you occupied
indoors - and if we can save you some time, maybe you'll
indulge in a nap or some reading time!
Our time
saving tip this month is to buy matching socks! Yep, if
you have many pairs of the same socks (rather than
various lengths and styles of black socks, for instance)
it is so much easier to sort them and you're more likely
to have a pair to wear even after two week's of rain
interfering with your washing drying!
And if
it's hard to pick whose socks are whose in your house,
sew a coloured cross on the bottom of each sock makes
them easier to tell apart - as long as you remember
which colour is which, of course! Another option is for
your younger daughter to have a coloured ribbon or lace
sewn onto her socks as siblings outgrow them - she'll
love the decoration and it is so easy to sort!
Prefer an
online time saver? Check out
Recipe Matcher
- they will give you recipes to match what you have in
the kitchen. How cool is that! Saves you trying to
figure out what to do with one carrot, a cabbage and
some left over chicken!
Have a
great July everyone!

Saving on lunches
Making lunches to
take to school, work or play can become
a chore, especially if you want
something more than a vegemite sandwich
everyday.
One option is to go
to the supermarket and stock up on small
food serves that are easy to pack. Of
course, hat can become an expensive
option, and not everyone is happy with
the additives in many convenient lunch
items.
So how can you have
convenience, low cost and interesting
packed lunches?

Review
Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
The Publishers say "As emotionally charged as any
she has written, Nineteen Minutes may be her most stunning work to date. Set in
a small town in the wake of a horrific school shooting, Nineteen Minutes
features the return of two beloved Picoult characters Jordan McAfee, the lawyer
from The Pact and Salem Falls, who once again finds himself representing a boy
who desperately needs someone on his side; and Patrick DuCharme, the intrepid
detective introduced in Perfect Match, whose best witness is the daughter of the
superior court judge assigned to the case. As the story unfolds, layer after
layer is peeled back to reveal some hard-hitting questions about the nature of
justice, the balance of power and what it means to be different. The bestselling
author of My Sister's Keeper and Vanishing Acts, Picoult returns with her most
absorbing novel yet. Nineteen Minutes is a riveting, thought-provoking tale with
a jaw-dropping finale."
