Homewares Australia
To Sirocco Homewares Australia, the brainchild of Leon and
Virginia Penrose.
Our background was in high quality cabinetmaking and commercial
furniture design and manufacture.
Conceived in the early 1990’s Sirocco quickly evolved from
Australian made ceramics and co-ordinating napery to mainly furniture and
furnishings for the family home.
In 1992 we scoured Sydney, with little success, for a bed for our
eldest child. Later when customers in our shop complained of the same experience
we were propelled back into furniture where we had a combined experience of 26
years.
Our goal was to build furniture for people who had the sense to
buy for the long term not knock together cheap solutions.
We design and supply our products to be lived with and NOT to be
lived around. |
