Traditionally, each year of marriage is represented by a particular material.
Thus, for each anniversary you should select a gift made from that material.
There is still a lot of room for creativity within the
list. For example, a first anniversary gift could be a writing set, a book,
origami, a drawing or a print whilst a fifteenth anniversary gift could be a
crystal for meditating with, nice wine glasses or a quartz paper
